Monetry Assistance for Cultivation under Kalia Yojana

A sum of Rs. 25000/- per family over five seasons will be given to small and marginal farmers.

Per season Rs.5000/- will be provided to farmers for purchasing inputs like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and they can also use this monetary benefit towards labour and other investments.

Comprehensive Assistance for Livelihood under Kalia Yojana

A sum of Rs 12500/- per household will be provided to Landless agricultural households. This benefit will be given for carrying out agricultural related activities like small goat rearing unit, mini-layer unit, Fishery kits for fisherman, duckery units, bee-keeping, and other activities.

This special benefit under KALIA Yojana is for SC/ ST category people.

Assistance for Vulnerable Agricultural Household under Kalia Yojana

A monetry benifit of Rs.10000/- will be provided to Those vulnerable cultivators/ landless agricultural labours having disability/ disease and those who due to old age\ not able to do cultivation

Life Insurance for Landless Agricultural Laborers & Cultivators


A Life insurance cover will be given to farmers of Rs. 2.00 lakh on a premium of Rs.330/- per year .

This cover will be provided to all the savings bank account holder of farmers who ages between 18-50 years.


Out of this premium, the Government of Odisha will pay Rs.165/- per annum. apart from insurance, the farmers will also get the Personal accident cover of Rs.2 lakh.

Accident cover premium is Rs. 12/- and Out of which odisha government will pay Rs. 6/-

if age is i between 51-70 years then accident cover premium of Rs.12 will be paid by the government of Odisha.

Interest-Free Crop Loan

Crop loan up to Rs.50000/- on zero per cent interest will be given to those who are identified vulnerable landless labourers, cultivators, sharecroppers and agricultural families by Gram Panchayats

Eligibility Criteria For The Kalia Yojana

person applying must be a permanent resident of the Odisha state.

Person applying must belong to the BPL category.

He must belong to the small or marginal category .

The farmers who follow tax payment structure will not be allowed for this scheme.

If the farmer is employee or associated with state government or the central government or PSU then they are ineligible.

Person Applying must have an Active bank account.

1) open the official website

2) click on Online Grievance Application Form option

4) Fill your adhar number and click on show button

6) Fill in all the required details.

7) Attach neccesaary required documents.

1) Open the Official Website

2) Now click on Benificiary list option

3) You will see a new tab then select your district , block and GP and click on view button
